SourceMost people are already aware of the photos of Palestinian children dressed up in military gear or camouflage, but few people are aware of the same type of photos using Israeli children. One of the most frequently-leveled criticisms against Palestinians is that they militarize their children, but few realize (or care) that Israelis do the same to their own children. Here is a link to a story that explains, in depth, how the militarization of Israeli children begins from a very young age:

Many people become enraged when you point out the similarities between the two cultures (Israeli and Palestinian) - with many even suggesting it is wrong to criticize Israelis. Well, I don't subscribe to that theory. People certainly have the right - and they definitely exercise the right - to criticize Palestinian actions; there is no reason on earth why the same criticism cannot be leveled against Israelis when it is merited. Take one look at these photos of children being exploited by their parents to hold guns, and try to deny that the criticism is not merited. The photos that are most disturbing are the ones depicting babies with pacifiers in their mouths holding or touching guns. The article linked above itself is disturbing, too. It describes how children are brainwashed from a young age to think about war and killing, and to discriminate against other cultures as being inferior.
Clearly, the article and photos show the similarities between the two cultures. To paraphrase an oft-repeated Israeli saying, until Israelis learn to love their children as much as they love war, there will be no peace.
