I came across this blog when reading a related story about a person who had threatened President Obama. The comments on the blog are racist, often violent, and always disturbing, but I think it is important for everybody to see the type of people that are out there. Clearly, racism is NOT dead, and clearly, when people look at President Obama, they do NOT see a "white man" (despite attempts by Limbaugh and others to paint the president as a "fake black person"). The hatred displayed in these comments against our President go beyond the usual vitriol between republicans or conservatives and democrats. These people look at Barack Obama and see only his black heritage, and they hate him for it. At least one comment called for violence against the president's young daughters. If these people feel comfortable making threats against the president of the United States, what might they do to someone in their real life?
