Ever notice how many heterosexual, anti-gay people are engaged in non-traditional, anti-biblical behavior? Take stock of the people in your own sphere: family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, casual acquaintances. Now think about how many of them are divorced, have cohabitated with someone of the opposite sex, engage in nonmarital sexual relationships, or have bragged about their one-night stands. Then ask yourself how these same people have the nerve to fight against same-sex marriage, blasting it as "non-traditional", "immoral", or "against 'god'", while giving themselves a free pass for their own immoral behavior? The same people that thump their bible at others and talk about gays never bother to read that bible, let alone follow its rules. Maybe if they DID read it, they'd come across the passages that speak about hypocrisy - and they'd realize that their Jesus had far more to say about hypocrisy than he ever had to say about gays!
In the meantime, maybe those who think that gays are "shoving their lifestyle in other people's faces" should practice what they preach and stop shoving their own behavior in everybody else's faces. After all, if sexuality is supposed to be kept private, that includes heterosexual sex.
