As election day grows closer and closer and Romney seems to be the GOP's inevitable nominee, I would like to know why republicans will be casting their votes for him. I know that many of you will be tempted to answer, "Because he's not Obama", but I want a serious and specific answer as to what it is that you like about him. What policies of his, past or present do you support?
As for myself, I am happy that he is the likely nominee because his past record shows he is a moderate. If, by some chance, a republican wins the presidency, I would much rather it be Romney than Santorum, whose ultra-right-wing, religious stances I cannot tolerate, or Gingrich.
