The bacon shake is made with no actual bacon, just real vanilla ice cream, bacon-flavored syrup, whipped topping and a maraschino cherry, according to the website. We were thinking this had to be the most trayf food known to mankind before we saw the ingredient list

Yuck. Chocolate with a little bacon in it I can see; it's mostly chocolate and the bacon is there for salt, and salted chocolate is the newest rage - it's a nice juxtaposition of flavors. But a milkshake that's purely bacon flavored? Bacon and milk - would those even taste good together??
I love the trayf (unclean) remark up above. I guess that maybe this milkshake WOULD be kosher after all since it doesn't use real bacon - only bacon flavored syrup.

IDK? But, "real vanilla" ice cream could definetly lend a sweet element to juxtapose against the salty meaty bacon flavor.
And, personally...I can't think of anything (at least off hand) w/ bacon in it...that isn't good? Really good! :)
Okay..GROSS!! I was hungry until I read this so it does help with my dieting efforts.LOL

Oh hell yeah. I can do this. I shouldn't, but I am going to. I will let you know what it taste like in the morning bonos_rama. I have a hankering for bacon and Ice Cream.
I would not really try this but I am just to curious not to. I had chocolate covered bacon at the State Fair two years ago and it was great, so maybe this will be like that. If you want a real treat you get a deep fried twinkie. But be warned you should probably have 911 on speed dial for that one. I can't believe some of the inappropriate and downright irresponsible things I have eaten at fairs. It's just sad to think about.
Oh, um, hmmm. Not sure. You'll have to do it at your own risk, I guess! Maybe just get a small and take a sip or two. :)
I don't have a Jack in the Box out here or I'd think about taking one for the team myself.
I will swing by on my way home. It is like 4 blocks from my house. I will keep you posted.

Okay it really taste kind of like Butter pecan my friends. I did not eat the whole thing, but I did look at all the Milk Shake information and it is technically one of the lower calorie ones. It has a very mild bacon taste, and if you were wanting something new for a rare occassion it is worth the try. Not too bad, and I would definitely try it again. Just not while eating a cheesburger. LOL!

Probably -- they had a "maggot" booth at the State Fair this year and people were actually eating that stuff and another booth offering deep-fried butter and Snickers and all kinds of other crap.
Okay Misty...Deep fried butter and snickers are obviously wrong, but it's not maggots...what @!$%#ing fair did you go to.

"Bypass" is the perfect word here...coupled with the word "triple".
Why stop at triple? Supersize that value meal, and go large for an amazing stay at the Bandage Inn.
