Later, one of the police officers discovers the dash cam on the highway patrol cruiser, and is heard mentioning it to a colleague.
'It's on camera,' he says. The other replies: 'They don't know you. I wouldn't worry about it.'
Authorities said they will not release the names of the officers involved in the incident.

when officers have someone down on the ground as these did, there was no need for the kicks to the head. That officer needs to be fired.

And yet they refuse to even release the names of the officers. There is no justice.

This makes recall an incident in Fontana, CA some 28 years ago.
A friend and I were going to go fishing at night. We pulled over to an all night convenince store and he went in to get some things. I got out of the truck and was checking our gear when a lunatic attacked me. He slashed me with a knife, stabbed me a couple of times and was going to slit my throat when he saw my face, he said oops wrong guy, and went after my friend.
My friend ran out jumped in the truck and took off, I guess he thought I was still in the truck- at least that is what he said later- I staggered in and asked the clerk to call 911. Long story short, I went into shock and came to with a cop kicking me in the ribs and dislocating my left shoulder. When he rolled me over there was a lot of blood. They took me to a hospital and then after I was treated and released a couple of days later they sent me a ticket for being drunk in public.
The blood test they had taken at the hospital later came back that I was clean and sober. So they magnanimously decide to drop the charges. This was during a time when the San Berdoo, sheriffs were under investigation for having people disappear out in the deserts.
I still have the scars from the slasking, and the stab wounds. As well as a healthy distrust of people with to much authority and little accountability.

Wow, cowboy. I'm so sorry that happened. And just assert that you were treated like that.by a cop. No wonder there is such a mistrust of the police.

These effing pigs.
I am a Type 1 diabetic and live in fear that this may one day happen to me. An incident of low blood sugar can cause a sluring of speech, mental confusion, even belligerence in some.
Police should be trained to spot these signs. The video doesn't show what the original reason for this guy being pulled over, I'm guessing weaving or not stopping soon enough. What is the reason for the cop to approach the drive this way instead of asking for ID first and talking to the drive that would have alleviated the issue.
It's bad enough to have to put up living with this disease without ignorant pigs harrassing you for suffering the effects of it.

Jimster:
My dad went into a diabetic type of coma. I was rushing him to the hospital, when I was about 24 years old. A CHP officer pulled me over and asked why I was speeding-I was doing a 105 mph- I told him, he saw my dad and put him in the back of his cruiser and got him to the hospital within 5 minutes.
There are some decent ones out there as well.

And they wonder why law enforcement deaths are on the rise...And yes I know there are good ones...but how do you tell a good cop from a nut with a badge that is having a bad shift?

Yeah, it didn't even make the papers. Oh and the guy who atacked me. They never did catch him. By the time they took my statement and and talked to my friend he was long gone.
But hey they sure did a good job on the victim instead of serve and protect it was kick and reject,
I know they have a tough job. But it is made tougher by the morons who do this kind of stuff.
Still I would help an officer in distress today. Ya can't judge them all by the acts of the bad ones.

Good to see that these officers took the time to evaluate the situation before beating a man in diabetic shock. That makes police officers look sooo good in the eyes of the citizenry.
The job is hard and I get that, but idiots like these guys need to be weeded out before they abuse their authority and the very people they are supposed to be protecting.

This helps to prove that the blue shirts certainly do more harm then good in this nation. I hate them all. Beating a citizen like that and for no reason. Maybe if blue shirts were given 10 years behind bars for attacking an unarmed and restrained civilian then they would think about their actions before they act. But there will likely be no justice for this person that was brutally attacked by one of those glorified thugs.

Just another story in the long line from our police state where cops act above the law. Time and again its yet another story of some arrogent cop beating someone for no reason but to beat people. Police at this point are nothing but gangs with badges.

At this point??? Look back in history. Whenever a group obtains great unrestrained power over others, they will abuse it without others holding them accountable.
Remember, "Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely".
The People can't fight back in self-defense so there is nothing stopping many blue shirts from mercilessly attacking or even killing Americans.
