Several dozen people are suing the Catholic church in Montana over sexual abuse they say they suffered as children at the hands of clergy members.

The 34 plaintiffs, who now range in age from 45 to 73, say the diocese of Helena must answer for its “gross negligence.” They are demanding monetary compensation plus a long list of remedial actions.
