Everybody is trying to figure out what it was that led Jared Lee Loughner to shoot Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. One angle that has yet to be explored is the anti-abortion angle. A former college classmate of Loughner claims that he called a female student a terrorist for killing a baby, after she read a poem about abortion. Congresswoman Giffords was pro-choice. Could she have been targeted for her pro-choice views? Unfortunately, it wouldn't be the first time someone got shot for their pro-choice stance. It's standard operating procedure for "right-to-life" activists to employ violent imagery and rhetoric, and even actual violence, to push their agenda.
