"Tony & Janina's American Wedding", a documentary by Ruth Leiman which tells the story of Polish immigrant family being torn apart by the US immigration system, has premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival.

The documentary follows the Wasilewski family from Chicago. Three years ago, Janina, who lived and worked in the US for 18 years, was deported to Poland with no right to return to the U.S. for 10 years.
